@02:22D'oh! Please excuse the editing mistake here! Don't know what happened in this version, but a few more frames were added accidently which has thrown the lip synching off.

This short Visual FX film was made for my final degree project at the University of Hertfordshire in 2008. I specialise in character animation and really enjoyed working on this piece.

Alienated is a story about an alien called Al who has moved to planet Earth to seek acceptance among the human race.

@02:52Excellent job on the whole thing. The fact that he exhibits common movements like just waving his hand around when he talks make it seem very realistic.

Thanks! I tried to focus on the little details in the body language to make it feel natural. Hopefully it helped give the character human-like qualities and made him relatable. :D
